News from the Scottish Episcopal Institute (SEI)

Poster for the SEI Lecture - all the details are in the main body of the textThis year’s SEI Lecture takes place next week (17 October) and will be given by the Rev Professor Paul Foster, Professor in New Testament Language, Literature and Theology in the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh.

The Lecture will be held in the New King’s building, King’s College, Aberdeen, and will be entitled ‘Their Pattern and Their King: The Gospel of Matthew as a Model for Christian Formation’

The Autumn 2019 Edition of the SEI Journal is now available online here.

It features review-essays of the newly-published Truth and the Church is a Secular Age, edited by the SEC’s own Rev Prof David Jasper (Convener of the Doctrine Committee) and Rev Dr Jenny Wright (Convener of the Church in Society Committee). The Autumn issue also includes other articles and book reviews with regard to inter-religious dialogue and Muslim–Christian relations amongst other things.
