St Ninian’s Walking Group

Hello all
The wintry weather continues but, as we discovered last week, if we stay sheltered it can be very good to get out for a walk. We are planning to go in search of Buffalo Bill this Wednesday 7th March. Meet on X77 (0915 Prestwick, 0909 Ayr). A city walk that will take us to Glasgow Cathedral, the Necropolis, Dennistoun ( Buffalo Bill) and returning to the city centre via The People’s Palace, Glasgow Green and the Clydeside walkway. No snow drifts ( I hope) and not so muddy or exposed, we will stop at People’s Palace or West Bar for lunch. About six miles or so and all on road/path. Minimum hills but not really suitable for dogs. Hope to see you there.
A reminder also that the Rob Roy Way is in June. Booking accommodation should be done soon. If you need details see Mary or myself.
Mary and I are away after this on holiday for 3 weeks or so. If anyone can lead or has some ideas for walks please ‘step forward’. I’m sure new ideas are always welcome!
