With the appointment of the Very Rev Matthew Little as Dean of the Diocese earlier this year, the role of Bishop Nick’s Liturgical Chaplain became vacant. We are grateful for Dean Matthew’s witness and ministry as Chaplain, working with three bishops: +Kevin who appointed him in 2023, +Andrew during the episcopal vacancy, and now +Nick.

While Dean Matthew carried on with the duties of the old role since his new appointment, a discernment for the new Chaplain also took place.

Bishop Nick is delighted to announce the Rev Sean McEwen, Priest in Charge of St Columba’s, Largs, as his new Liturgical Chaplain. Over the course of the next few Diocesan services, a handover will take place.
